Inshore Fishing Charters

Inshore fishing charters are the easiest way to catch fish and get a feel for the area. Leave it up to one of our U.S.C.G. approved CB’s guides to make your next private fishing adventure memorable. Safety is our main priority on all the trips. We offer fly-fishing and spin fishing charters in Sarasota bay for anglers of all skill levels. All lifejackets and safety equipment will be equipped on the boat, along with dry storage for cameras, cellphones, and other electronics.

Depending on the time of year, CB’s fishing guides catch: snook, redfish, trout, flounder, pompano, snapper, sheep head, jack crevelle, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, flounder, bonita, tarpon and more. These fish are incredibly strong, fast, and fun, creating great memories for the whole family. Ask your guide what species of fish is biting that time of year and check the fishing reports.

Kids are great on CB’s charters. The guides we choose are patient, understanding, and help clients have a fun and safe time on the water. There is nothing like catching that first saltwater fish on light tackle.

On a CB’s fishing charter, a client can expect to have a professional guide with a clean boat and a great personality. Sit back, relax, and let the guide show you to some of the best fishing spots around Siesta Key. Get a chance to land some of Sarasota’s hardest fighting fish like the snook, redfish, jack crevelle and many more in tropical paradise.

All tackle, rod, reel, licensing and bait will be provided while on the fishing charter. If the angler wants to use his own rod, that is okay. All of our guides are have different fishing styles. Some prefer flies, bait, or artificial and we will do our best to pair you with the best guide for your interests.

If the fish is in season and the correct size limit for FWC laws, than you may keep if the guide permits.

Our guides practice catch and release, however, if you would like to take fish home for a meal they will fillet them for you to cook. Clayton’s Siesta Grill is an excellent choice that will cook your catch located directly behind CB’s Siesta Key.

Spinning reels spooled with 10-15lb main line tied to 20-30lb leader in the bay is typically used on light action spin rods, making the fights extra fun.
